Hair Journal

Hey Queens,
My natural hair tip for anyone who really wants to document their hair journey is keep a hair and/or product journal.

Throughout your natural hair journey you will notice changes in your hair. I have noticed many from when I was transitioning (2012), to when I was completely natural (2013) and then throughout the different length stages that followed. Products that once worked amazingly no longer had the same effect, which lead to me having to tweak
the products I used and the regime I followed. Keeping
a journal will allow you to make notes, you don't have
to make detailed notes. Just every 3-6mnths or whenever you notice a change try to write down the changes you
have noticed whether it be your hair or products you use.
This will really help you understand what works on your hair and will make identifying any haircare patterns easier.

Also make note of products which DON’T mix well together, we all know that feeling of disaster when you see tiny white balls all over your head!

Do you keep a hair journal?
