I'm EXCITED to post about a company called The Perfume Society which I recently discovered on-line. If you love perfumes (who doesn’t?!) this is a treat for you!
When it comes to scent, I LOVE them all! Floral, woody, musky, you name it I love it. However with thousands of different types of scents, and talk of top, base and other types of notes it can become overwhelming rather quickly. Picking the right perfume to suit you becomes quite daunting and not easy at all. If you think about it, this is going to be your scent for sometime, so choosing the right fragrance is crucial.

The perfume Society website is like an encyclopaedia for all things fragrance! You can discover new fragrance launches, keep up to date with what’s happening in the world of scents as well as learning about the history of the different perfume houses and the people behind such extraordinary perfumes.
They really have thought of everything, from FR.Ed an on-line virtual fragrance advisor, which after typing in your favourite perfume will give you recommendations of six similar fragrances from thousands available. This is especially helpful if you have a favourite scent but want a little change or you are looking for a gift for someone else.

What is really special about The Perfume Society is that you can subscribe to become a perfume VIP and have access to many benefits. VIP subscribers are offered the chance to meet and be inspired by some of the people who created such amazing aromas. VIP’s are invited to attend fun and educational workshops where you can learn how to ‘turbo-charge’ your own sense of smell or choose to create your own unique fragrance yourself! VIPs also receive The Scented Letter, an on-line, downloadable fragrance magazine and the privilege of being the first to know about in-store events as well as new scent launches in the fragrance world.
That’s not all, VIP’s also receive an educational discovery box filled with eight perfume samples, smelling strips, together with ‘Fragrance Notes’ postcards and an embossed Note Book, to share your thoughts about the scents – where you can start to deepen your appreciation of perfume and the scented world. Of course not forgetting your subscription card and so much more.
I was lucky to receive two boxes, ‘Putting on the Spritz’ box as well as the ‘Catwalk Collection' box, which you can see below both include an incredible collection of scents.

Putting on the Spritz box included scents from well-known perfume houses such as Framboise from Shay & Blue and Flower by Kenzo. It also includes scents from up and coming names, introducing brand new names such as Vince Camuto whose perfume Amore is inspired by “passion and romance” and On The Road perfume by Timothy Han whose perfume is “named for Jack Kerouac’s novel”.

This box celebrates “fashion’s flourishing relationship with fragrance”. A combination of designer scents including some fashionable brands such as Etat Libre D’Orange with Remarkable People and Agonist’s Dark Spahir. Not forgetting Valentino Donna, Black Opium and Illicit by Jimmy Choo and many more. This box is definitely best of both worlds!

Each box comes with handy, easy to read and interesting postcards to learn more about all the fragrances in each box.
The Perfume Society blotters
Trying out the different perfumes was so much fun and made even easier with a pack of blotters included in each box. A great way to try out a new perfume and be able to smell the scent throughout the day to see if you like the smell as the scent changes.
As you can see I had a lot of fun! Loved trying out all the new scents, I had friends, family, even colleagues blotting and trying new perfumes. I even had a stranger stop to ask me what perfume I was wearing which turned into quite a long discussion!
